Aurora - Tamper Evident Band Application on Containers
Aurora represents a revolution in mandrel-style, in-line shrink sleeve applicators. Its innovative modular design provides plug-n-play functionality and unlimited machine configurations for applying tamper-evident and heat shrink bands. The system includes an Aurora applicator, with a belted band positioning system to correctly position the band on the neck of the container, and dual ThermoRay infrared heat shrink tunnels.
For higher-speed applications or longer shrink times, dual tunnel configurations are available. Aurora applicators can handle speeds up to 400 containers per minute for individual containers. For multi-pack or twin-pack applications, throughput speeds will vary based on pack size and configuration. Full body sleeve applicators are available with speeds ranging from 5 to 800 containers per minute, catering to various operational needs. For mid-speed applications, consider the Aurora Mid-Speed Multipack Sleeve Applicator. Aurora models also feature PackML programming for simplified operation and maintenance.
Axon’s heat tunnels, including hot-air, infrared, and steam tunnels, offer versatile heating options. ThermoRay® and ThermoRay Deluxe use infrared heating elements for even heat distribution, ideal for low-shrink applications and tamper-evident bands. The ThermoRay Deluxe includes a Digital Temperature Controller and Automatic Fan Control for enhanced precision.
The system’s dynamic speed control adjusts based on line conditions, and Ethernet/IP communications enable rapid integration.
