Aurora System - Twinpack Shrink Sleeve Application

Axon's popular Aurora applicator can be easily configured to apply multipacks with a film layflat range of 50 to 200mm. The Aurora applicators provide steady-state speeds up to 400 containers per minute for individual containers, while speeds for multi-pack or twin-pack applications vary depending on pack size and configuration. Utilizing servo motion control, these applicators deliver consistent, repeatable performance. We can provide a complete system including material handling, conveyor, and heat tunnel.

Additionally, container changeovers on Aurora applicators are tool-less and can be completed in under 15 minutes. The machines feature PackML programming for simplified operation and maintenance, along with Ethernet/IP communications for rapid line integration. Aurora machines offer bilingual operation with English and Spanish HMI and include Dynamic Speed Control to adjust machine speed based on line conditions.

Axon also offers heat shrink tunnels, including hot-air, infrared, and steam options for versatile applications. Shrink sleeve steam tunnels deliver precise and consistent results. Full body sleeve applicators and tamper-evident band applicators handle 5 to 800 containers per minute. Print Registration uses a fiber optic sensor for accurate sleeve length, and multiple perforation options are available, including horizontal, t-style, and vertical. Electric height adjustment is controlled by a push button, ensuring ease of use. PMMI-certified training is available for operators to enhance their skills and knowledge.
