EZ-150SL Shrink Sleeve Applicator - Applying Sleeves to Beverage Containers
The Axon EZ-150SL is a mandrel-style shrink sleeve applicator designed to run up to 150 containers per minute, specifically tailored for ready-to-drink beverage cans and widely used in the craft beer industry. This PackML compliant machine features a robust stainless steel frame suited for beverage plant conditions and servo-controlled film feeding & cutting systems for superior accuracy and repeatable performance. Additionally, the servo motion control ensures consistent and reliable operation.
The machine is highly flexible, capable of handling multiple shrink sleeve applications and supporting full body sleeve applicators, which range from 5 to 800 containers per minute. Tamper evident band applicators also operate within the same speed range. The system utilizes high-performance heat shrink tunnels, employing hot-air, infrared, and steam for effective shrinking.
Tool-less container changeovers take less than ten minutes, enhancing operational efficiency. The wide film format models can handle film widths up to 900mm, while the print registration with a fiber optic sensor ensures precise sleeve length accuracy. Features like the vertical perforator facilitate easy opening, and the inspection rejection system detects high, low, and no labels.
