SLX Shrink Sleeve Applicator - Applying Sleeves to Printed Beer Cans
The Axon SLX high-speed shrink sleeve labeler is designed for peak EFFICIENCY and EASE OF USE, making it one of the most advanced single-head in-line systems available for the beverage industry today. It features an improved web-tensioning system for precise film control and a unique digital format monitoring system to ensure quick, error-free changeovers. The Rockwell CompactLogix 5380 controller achieves speeds in excess of 800 cpm, and the S.L.T. film delivery system handles film thicknesses down to 25-microns.
Our SLX Series shrink sleeve label applicators achieve production speeds up to 800 containers per minute, employing mandrel style machines with servo motion control for consistent performance. Tool-less container changeovers are completed in less than ten minutes. Dual segment feedscrews with independent servo control ensure smooth container handling. Optional thin gauge film handling maintains speed and efficiency with the thinnest films. Both full body sleeve and tamper evident band applicators operate at speeds between 5 to 800 containers per minute.
High-performance heat shrink tunnels are available in hot-air, infrared, and steam options. The system includes digital recipe parameter control for correct machine settings post-changeover and Ethernet communications for rapid business systems interface and remote monitoring.
